I have loved books and writing since I could first follow the stories my mother read to me at bedtime. I began writing stories in old school notebooks when I was eight years old but only recently thought that people like you might want to read my stories, too.

A romantic to the very core, I am inspired by thunder storms, sunflowers and the belief that every princess deserves to find her prince. I love curling up on the couch with a good book, a glass of wine and my cats for company. Recently I moved to a remote village in the French countryside. I spend hours meandering through fields and woods, thinking about my characters and how they will overcome their current obstacles.

When I was young, I fell in love with the novels of Georgette Heyer and Jane Austen, and sighed over Mr. Rochester in Jane Eyre. He still seems to be the inspiration behind some of my heroes. I also love fantasy – especially if there is romance involved. Many of the books on my reading list are historical – and contemporary – romance with an edge.
